Saadia Taj is a Senior at Wayne State University pursuing a career in Clinical Neuropsychology. Part of the reason Saadia loves TEDx is its ability to bring about a diversified group of people from many different educational backgrounds and interests. As the Executive Director Saadia strives to ensure this quality remains continuous both within the conference and the group. When she’s not working on TEDx you will hopefully find get traveling the globe. :)
Halimah Ahmad is currently a senior at Wayne State University, majoring in Global Supply Chain Management. With music being a great influence in her life, she dreams to one day open a business involved in the music industry. She has been watching TED talks in her spare time since high school and mostly enjoys the comedic or bizarre genre. TED talk recommendation: “This is what happens when you reply to spam email” by James Veitch.

Anika Taufiq is a Senior earning her Bachelors of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. As the Communications Director of TEDxWayneStateU, her main objective is to oversee communication strategies that advance the organization’s efforts to catalyze impact through uniting differing ideas within the Wayne State community.

Zachary Lohrmann is currently as sophomore at Wayne State University pursuing a degree in Kinesiology on a pre-medical pathway. The main reason he wanted to be a part of TEDxWayneStateU is to be able to hear and share many ideas between different people.

Elaine Saijan is currently a junior at Wayne State University, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science with Departmental Honors. As the Budgeting Manager of the TEDxWayneStateU 2018-2019 team, she aims to organize an incredible event to help spread ideas, from the WSU community, and elevate them to a global stage.
Haley Seymour is currently a sophomore, and in the process of earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. It is both an honor and a pleasure for her, as a board member of TEDxWayneStateU, to act as a catalyst for important conversation, in order to further a sense of unity within her community.

Eman Naga is currently a freshman, majoring in political science, with the aim to become an immigration lawyer. With a passion for invigorating discussions, Eman is involved as volunteer coordinator at TedXWayneStateU to do just that, spark change and share differing perspectives that mold the future.

Gabrielle Eggert is a Junior obtaining her Bachelors in Communication Studies with a minor in Media and Arts studies. This is her first year with TEDxWayneStateU, where she takes on the role of Event Coordinator.
